THE RUSSIAN STATE BALLET

The RUSSIAN STATE BALLET THEATRE is devoted to the
traditions of Ballet but presented with a modern elegance.
The sheer poetry of this philosophy, by its Directord Vlacheslave Gordeev,
is evidenced in the treatment of the classic repertoire of THE RUSSIAN STATE BALLET. "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", "Giselle", "The Nutcracker", "Cinderella", "Scherherazade", and "Sleeping Beauty" are the masterpieces offered for International Touring through 2012. In 1989 Vlacheslav Gordeev headed "The Ensemble of Classical Ballet" in Moscow and in turn it became the RUSSIAN STATE BALLET under the MOSCOW STATE
THEATRE later that year. Gordeev, former Dancer, Choreographer and Artistic Director of the BOLSHOI THEATRE, achieved National acclaim for the RUSSIAN STATE BALLET within the Soviet Union and soon thereafter in Russia, Europe and throughout the World.
We are presenting from the BOLSHOI THEATRE leading soloists
of the BOLSHOI BALLET
